A former teacher, Lisa is certified in Canine Therapeutic Massage from the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage and currently working on obtaining her certification in Equine and Canine Sports Massage.   She also holds a BE in music education and an MA in arts administration.  She worked as a Humane Educator for several years  at SD Humane Society  & SPCA before pursuing her love of the arts for 9 years.

Coming full circle,  Lisa volunteers at the El Cajon Animal Shelter and serves as President of the El Cajon ACES Foundation, providing additional funds for shelter animals.

She lives with a houseful of various pets including her husband and 3 bouncy bearded collies.
